Costas Michaelides Contractors is the island's leading company in the construction business. To date, our company has built 88 building blocks and tourist complexes. After the company was recently listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange, the Board of Directors forged a new, dynamic course ahead, extending the company's activities in land purchase and development in towns across Cyprus and at seaside tourist resorts.

The company was founded by its current chairman Costas Michaelides in 1954. Michaelides, a tireless pioneer of the island's construction sector, is himself an incurably hospitable person who likes to cultivate deep, personal relations with the people he conducts business with. Like he always says, the company owes its success to friendship and the quality of its services.

Initially the company undertook contracts to construct residences. The big leap forward came in 1977, when it started building the first 11 tourist complexes at the seaside village of Zygi, then A humble and deserted community that was nevertheless pristine in its beauty. The village is located halfway along the Nicosia-Limassol highway.

Since then, our company has achieved major successes in serving the needs and demands of its clients from both Cyprus and abroad. Last year it completed 3 new building blocks in Nicosia, 1 in Paphos and 2 seaside holiday-house complexes at the Zygi, Psematismenos and Agios Theodoros coastline.
